This guide has been written as if you are installing it in a sump, but if you are using it for anything else, you can skip the steps for removing and refitting the sump. If you are unsure of any steps, we recommend getting a professional to install it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eTools Needed:\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eA drill with a 25mm drill bit\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAn AN spanner for the removal of the turbo drain line\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e2 x 27mm sockets with ratchet or spanners\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e(optional) Sockets for the sump and sump plug bolts\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eInstallation Guide:\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFirst, drain the oil from the car by removing the sump plug.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eEnsure the car is cold before removing the sump to reduce the risk of injury or burns.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eMark the sump where you need to drill, ensuring you have a straight path from the turbo drain to remove the risk of kinks in the line.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRemove the sump from the car and fully clean out the inside.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDrill a 25mm hole in the centre of the mark you made previously, trying to catch as much of the swarf as possible from entering the sump.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eBefore installing the fitting, make sure every bit of swarf has been removed from the sump. If you miss any, this could cause engine failure.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePut a PTFE washer between the sump and fitting, and push the fitting through the sump with the tapered AN10 end on the outside.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePut the second PTFE washer on the back of the fitting and install the threaded nut by hand.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTighten both nuts together using 2 x 27mm sockets or spanners, ensuring they are tight enough not to come loose by themselves.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThis step is optional, but if you would like to weld the nut from the inside, this would guarantee that the nut cannot come loose. (Your sump must be steel, not aluminium, and you would have to remove the PTFE washer from the inside.)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRefit the sump to the car, refit the turbo oil drain line, and fill the engine with oil.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRun the car through a few heat cycles and check for leaks.
